Look around the classroom.
- Write down thirty nouns that you see.
- Write down five proper nouns.
- Write down thirty verbs you see happening.
(What are people doing? EXAMPLE: breathe, talk, sit.
Be creative.)
- For your first ten verbs, write ten sentences in the present tense
beginning with the pronoun "she." (EXAMPLE: She
is breathing. She is sitting.)
- For verbs 11 through 20 on your list, write ten sentences in the past
tense beginning with the pronoun "they." (EXAMPLE:
They thought about the difference between nouns and pronouns.)
- For your final ten verbs, write ten sentences in the future tense
beginning with the pronoun "I." (EXAMPLE: I
will hand my paper in.)
