Print this Page.  then write down your answers in the blank column.

NOTE: You will need 2 phonetic fonts.  (If you own the Random House Webster's Unabridged Dictionary on CD-ROM, you already have them.)

To display the Random House Webster's Unabridged  pronunciation symbols, you must have both  the Random House Extended and Random House Extended 2 fonts installed.  To download these fonts, right-click on the following two links, first to the one and then to the other, and select the command "Save Target As..." and then specify a folder on your hard disk :  random.ttf  and here: random2.ttf. On a PC, these font files should be in your Windows/Fonts directory, which they will occupy once the font is installed.  Once the two files are on your hard disk, to add the font (which will then be available to all your programs, of course)  Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Fonts > File . . . Install New Font and then browsing for the directory on your hard disk you've downloaded the Random House Extended font files to.  Sorry:  these are still the days of ridiculously complicated computing. Once you've done this, click your browser's refresh or update button.  A sign the font is NOT installed: is NO accent marks.
